  • SLUH: Wins over Rockhurst, Fort Zumwalt West, Ladue, Kirkwood, Eureka, and CBC highlight SLUH’s ability to win tight, high-pressure games. Elite defense and big-match composure make them a perennial title threat.

  • Rockwood Summit: Routinely posts big wins (8–0, 6–0, 4–2) and handles both metro and out-of-area competition. Physical, fast, and ruthless when given space.

  • Veritas Christian Academy: Strong playoff résumé with wins over Metro, Lone Jack, Lutheran North, and Washington. Defensive discipline paired with efficient finishing.


Tier 2: Deep Playoff Threats

These teams may not dominate headlines, but they beat good teams consistently.


  • Fort Zumwalt West: Quality wins over Francis Howell, St. Dominic, Timberland, and Hickman. A team that peaks late and thrives in tournament settings.

  • Principia: Consistent presence deep into the postseason with multiple clean-sheet wins. Dangerous against similar-tier opponents.

  • St. Dominic: Defensively stout program with postseason wins over Liberty (Wentzville) and Battle. Hard to break down.


Tier 3: Momentum & Breakout Programs

Teams showing clear upward trends or strong finishes.


  • Vianney: Wins over Oakville, Jackson, and Farmington show tournament toughness. Always competitive in tight matches.

  • St. Pius X: Capable of blowout victories and disciplined tournament play, especially against regional competition.
