2025 Season Recap: Oakville Tigers

The 2025 boys soccer season was a statement year for the Oakville Tigers. With a demanding schedule that featured some of the top programs in the St. Louis area, Oakville combined consistency, depth, and balance to finish with an impressive 17–6–1 record, establishing themselves as one of the area’s most complete teams.


Season Overview


Oakville jumped out to a fast start and never really slowed down.


Final Record: 17–6–1


Highlights of the season included:


  • A 10–1–1 run through late September and early October

  • Quality wins over Ladue, Kirkwood, Francis Howell, Lindbergh, Parkway Central, and Vianney

  • A strong postseason push, reaching the Lindbergh-hosted late-season matches



The Tigers consistently found ways to win close games, especially in one-goal matches, which defined much of their success.


Strength in Goal


Oakville benefited from solid play between the posts all season, using two goalkeepers effectively.


  • Liam Kukic

    • 1,100 minutes | 10–4 record

    • 3 shutouts, 1.16 GAA

  • Nate Czuppon

    • 825 minutes | 6–2–1 record

    • 2 shutouts, 1.26 GAA


Their combined consistency allowed Oakville to stay composed defensively, particularly during tight conference and tournament games.


Offensive Leaders


Oakville’s attack was spread out across the lineup, making them difficult to defend. Multiple players stepped up in big moments.


  • Edvin Trnjanin – 8 goals, 6 assists (22 points), 4 GWG


    The Tigers’ most dangerous offensive weapon and a constant difference-maker.

  • Joe Kestler – 7 goals, 1 assist (15 points), 2 GWG


    A reliable finisher who delivered in key matches.

  • Isaiah Ayidiya – 5 goals, 1 assist (11 points), 2 GWG


    Consistent scoring presence in close contests.

  • Lucas Tish – 4 goals, 2 assists (10 points), 1 GWG

  • Ali Al-Kenani – 3 goals, 4 assists (10 points), 1 GWG


Playmaking depth came from:


  • Brayden Forrest – 2 goals, 5 assists (2 GWG)

  • Sebastian Ahrens – 2 goals, 5 assists

  • Jackson Kiser – 3 goals, 3 assists (2 GWG)

  • Jacob Kiser – 7 assists, helping drive the midfield tempo


Notable Results


  • Season-opening win vs Eureka (3–1) set the tone

  • Eight-game winning streak from Sept. 11 to Oct. 7

  • 5–2 road win at Webster Groves

  • Late-season wins over Vianney, Parkway West, and Bayless

  • Finished with four straight wins before the final Vianney matchup


Season Takeaway


The 2025 Oakville Tigers were defined by balance. With strong goalkeeping, a deep and versatile attack, and the ability to grind out results against top competition, Oakville proved they could win in multiple ways.


Their 17-win season, combined with quality victories and consistent performances, made 2025 a year that firmly placed Oakville among the area’s elite programs—and set a high standard moving forward.
